The Fullerton Women’s Leadership Forum will hold its 14th Anniversary event honoring local community leaders on Wednesday, November 7 starting at 5 p.m. This FREE event is hosted by Fullerton Councilwoman Jennifer Fitzgerald, Former Fullerton Councilwoman Jan Flory, Former Fullerton Councilwoman Pam Keller, and The Woman’s Club of Fullerton.
The FREE event will be held at the Fullerton Community Center in the Grand Hall. Beginning at 5 p.m., attendees will enjoy “The Marketplace.” Attendees will be able to meet, greet, and/or donate to non-profit charity organizations as well as purchase items from local women-owned/operated businesses that help make our community a great place live, work, and play.
Fullerton Councilwoman Jennifer Fitzgerald said, “This is our 14th year celebrating and honoring the strong women who lead our community. Together, they demonstrate how women from all walks of life can make a difference in business, public service, and education. You won’t want to miss this year’s forum; I guarantee you’ll be inspired!”
The FWLF will also honor other local leaders, including the Honorable Hilda Sugarman, Member, Fullerton School District Board of Trustees for Excellence in Public Service; Summer Dabbs Director, Fullerton Cares for Excellence in Philanthropy; Patty Gomez, Owner, Patty’s Cakes for Excellence in Business; and Barbara Fonseca and Irene Imhof Co-Founders, National Organization for Disorders of the Corpus Callosum who will be presented with the 2018 Woman’s Club of Fullerton Excellence in Leadership Award. The event will also honor the second annual Warrior Award Honoree, Cari Hart-Bunevith Founder, Hart Community Homes, and Monkey Business Café.
